The Sonoran Spa Resort on Sandy Beach in Rocky Point offers beautiful beachfront accommodations in Penasco for a perfect getaway whether you are traveling with a group of friends, couples, a family or even a corporate retreat. Condo West 606 at Sonoran Spa was designer furnished to be comfortable, family-friendly and luxurious. But it's all about having fun, so books, games and movies are provided for when you need a break from all that relaxing on the beach! Although many of the rental condos at Sonoran Spa are luxurious and well-appointed, you will see why West 606 is one of the best. No expense was spared in making this the condo of choice in Sonoran Spa, but it's not stuffy by any means. The Sonoran Spa resort is a gated community (with real live guards) with 24 hour security, tennis courts, three pools, two Jacuzzi tubs, a full service spa, The Sonoran Grill restaurant and bar and a convenient store. There are three buildings comprising Sonoran Spa Resort. The west building is preferred by many because it offers the oceanfront view, but also offers a spectacular 'city lights' view at night. Condo 606 West is oceanfront in the true meaning of the word. Take the elevator down, walk past the pool, and you are on the beach!

The kitchen has bright white tile countertops and full size GE refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The building's water is purified, but bottled drinking water is also provided for our guests. Quality small appliances are also provided, including blender, toaster, coffee maker and mixer. All silverware, dishes, pots and pans are provided (including an extra large pot for steaming clams). There is a new supermarket in town called Ley's which has all the products you would find in an American grocery story, so you will be able to buy whatever you may have forgetten to bring. With the large refrigerator and freezer, it is convenient and economical to bring a cooler with your favorite foods and beverages. Remember that there is no glass permitted at the pool or the beach so please bring canned beverages or use plastic cups.

Condo 606 West has two large bedrooms plus a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. West 606 can comfortably sleep six to eight people. The spacious master suite features a king bed with ultra-plush pillow top mattress and carved wood headboard. The master bath has a shower with deep soaking tub and beautiful marble surround all the way to the ceiling. The master suite also features a large comfortable chaise lounge which is right next to glass doors leading to the large balcony. From this chaise (a.k.a. the best seat in the house) you can read while enjoying the glorious ocean view and a wonderful view of the town. These views are also enjoyed from the bed! 

The second bedroom features two full size beds, a large walk-in closet, a writing desk and a TV and VCR. Unit 606 West is the only condo in the West building of Sonoran Spa Resort to feature two full beds. This offers flexibility and comfort in your sleeping arrangements. There is a laundry room featuring full size GE washer and dryer. This is right inside the door so its the perfect spot to dump all your beach and pool items, leaving your beach home uncluttered and free of sand.

All the bedrooms feature TV's and VCR's and the living room features a 36" Sony stereo television, a DVD player, VCR and stereo with CD player and cassette. VHS movies are provided, however bring your own DVD's and CD's to enjoy. The second bathroom (a.k.a. the bano anaranjado) has an extra large marble shower. On the enormous balcony is seating for four to dine with an ocean view. Opposite the dining table is a cushioned chaise lounge, perfect for reading or snoozing 'al fresco'. A long bench runs the full 28 feet of the balcony. Sonoran Spa condo 606 West has some of the best views in Puerto Penasco. There is nothing nicer than relaxing on the Balcony after sunset, watching the twinkling city lights as the moon hangs over the sea and waves gently roll to the soft white sand. The combination of beach view and city lights view is truly spectacular.

This condo is on the 6th floor in the center of the west building. The sixth floor gives you complete privacy in the condo and on the balcony. It is high enough to get the breathtaking views of the whales, dolphins and city lights, yet low enough to feel like you are still 'on the beach'. Another plus, at this level, noise from the pool and Jacuzzis at night and in the early morning is minimized. The building has eight total floors. The condo has tile floors throughout. Bed linens and condo towels are provided however bring your own towels for the pool and beach. Also for the beach you may want to bring beach shoes (aqua socks) because when the tide goes out, many little islands appear and the beach shoes enable comfortable slip-proof exploring! West 606 is near the elevator for ease in loading in and out.
